Among all images admitted to the contest in the “WATER’S ROLE IN GENDER EQUALITY” section, the following will be awarded:
– The best overall photo will receive a cash prize of € 1,500 and the title of **World Water Day Photo Contest 2026 (X EDITION) Overall Winner**
– The second-best photo will receive a cash prize of € 750
– The third-best photo will receive a cash prize of € 400
SECTION WATER LANDSCAPES
Among all entries admitted to the “Water Landscapes” section, the following prizes will be awarded:
– The best photo will receive a cash prize of € 450
– The second-best photo will receive a cash prize of €250
– The third-best photo will receive a cash prize of € 150
STORYTELLING SECTION
– The best portfolio in the “Storytelling” section will receive a cash prize of € 750
– The second-best portfolio will receive a cash prize of € 350
– The third-best portfolio will receive a cash prize of € 200

Among all contest entries, the following additional prizes will be awarded:
1st Place – Glacier Preservation: €250

Prizes are not cumulative, and in the event of a tie, the prize will be equally divided rather than doubled.

TRAVELLING EXHIBITION
Winning photos and a selection of the best images chosen by the jury will be featured in the World Water Day Photo Contest | Travelling Exhibition, held from April 2026 to February 2027 in various locations worldwide.
AWARD CEREMONY
The award ceremony will take place on March 22, 2026, in conjunction with **World Water Day**.
